make a long bridge, and use beenades and bee guns, (bee jetpack works extremely well if your on expert mode as well.)

I recommend using Phoenix blaster, but a large bridge of blocks is NECESSARY.

It's called a Hive Pack Cupcake.

That's a good strategy.
If you don't like Bees, try using a bunch of Molotovs, a Hellwing Bow, a good Yo-Yo, a Minishark, Water Bolt, etc.
Lots of things kill, you just need enough buffs and bridge to last the fight.

I highly recommend farming a demon scyth from the demons in hell. That plus mana potions will make him go pretty quick.

The rocket boots, a gravitation potion, or some other thing that allows flying, even if you have an obsidian skin potion falling into the lava will give the wall a few more seconds to advance upon you and deal heavy contact damage.
