Fable 3 (Steam Version) Windows 8 doesn`t work

after trying reinstalling the game it doesn`t work. after reinstalling gfwl it doen`t work.
trying to install gfwl from microsoft flight simulator it doesn`t work. what can i do now

I had the same problem, but you can fix it by uninstalling and then reinstalling games for windows live.

Do you play on win 8 the update version or complete install win 8

im deinstalling all games for windows live and now im downloading fable 3 again

maybe directx or something isn`t up to date

i think you have to downlode something before you can play it.

I had the same issue. the work around I found was to go into your steam file " C:\steam\steamapps\common\Fable 3\SupportFiles\G4W " in there use setup exe should be the only thing in this file. says incompatible version and updates every thing. logged into G4W before staring fable it worked fin at this point.

for me nothing worked. after i started the first time the G4W in the fable support files folder it says the same update .... but when i log in and start the game the same it loads for 2 sec and then nothing. the game doesn`t start. now when i try to install the G4W in the fable support files then it doesn`t say anymore update .... and its all time the same now the game start and close after 2 sec nothing is wrong all correctly installed.
