general achievement bug

im almost done but for some reason i cant get any achievements at all. how comes?

Better a late reply than never. This issue is not global and mostly related to a missing STEAM connection.
The local files are usually in:
"C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Daedalic Entertainment\A New Beginning - Final Cut\savegames"
delete the profile.dat and start the game

The achievement issue is almost solely related to the STEAM overlay. The information exchange processes from STEAM client to STEAM servers and vice versa.

Thanks, it works for me, but the cloud must be desactivated.

I started the game today on my mac, i deleted the profile.dat and deactivated the steam cloud.
But I still don't get any achievements.

Is there any solution?

Hi there FlowRecords,

OSX and achievements are a known issue, especially with our older titles. Unfortunately, there is no fix for this yet, but you can try to download savegames from our support site and use these. Maybe one of them triggers the achievements.

Update to the missing achievement issue: the team is currently working on it! One of the client updates for Steam caused an compatibility issue that needs a fixture.

None of the achievements unlock. I started the game twice, deleted all save files, and disabled the synchronization. But none of the achievements unlock.

FWIW not a single achievement problem in March 2021 on Windows 7 64-bit. That is, to the developers, please do to "1954 Alcatraz" that which you did to this game because in the former achievements certainly are completely broken.
