Well, go to hell, then. If you are a dude with such an original nickname of yours who thinks that Metascore is something that really matters, then the community of the game doesn't diserve your presence.

How dare you make fun of one of Ronnie Coleman catchphrase, i've tried the game, i don't judge if i don't tried it, all i said was with such a low metascore, there are not gonna attract many people so its better to make it F2P

Since you have played the game yourself, do you believe that a hand full of outdated reviews that sum up to a metascore of 36 do this game justice?

stop feeding the troll. he obviously just wants free games. Probably does not know that he can brows by "free to play" through steam.

The game has changed a lot since those initial scores. It'd be rated much higher now.

Gentlemen, I'd appreciate it if some of you were more welcoming to the new users of the discussions board. Just because his inquiry is not as thought through as you'd like it to be that does not mean he was trying to harm anyone.

I'm pretty sure that Spiral would not even consider making Dino Horde free to play because that's against their philosophy. There are also so many f2p games available that I wonder where they find people to play them all. (I wonder why someone would grind his way through a probably not that great game or buys a game bit by bit when there's sales and indie bundles that give us yesterdays awesome games for ridiculously little money.)

Now, with that out of the way, I'm curious about this guys reasoning: Does he want people to play a game that is as bad as the reviews claim or does he think the rating should be better? How would he expect Dino Horde to be f2p? A game where everything is available through extensive grinding? Does he believe a small studio like Spiral could exist from selling hats?)

I bought the game day one and i don't regret it, but if a game as a metascore of 36/100, i and others would definitely not buy it because of how low the score is. the score won't attract new player.

A short while back the game was free to play for a week. Plenty of people took the change to look into the game and quiet a few bought it at that time.

And just because you (and maybe the people you know) do trust metacritic, that does not mean others do. Seriously: Either the game is as bad as it is rated or the rating platform is not trustworthy.

i don't trust platforms like metacritic.. i have my own mind, i have my own likings.. i like demos, and the free week spiral has given us was like a demo.. i tried the game, i liked it, then, through luck, a steam friend gave me the game.. i would have bought it myself seeing it is actually real fun..

sorry to see you have no own opinion other than what metacritic tells you to have ..

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on the game, just like any other. If you don't like the game, fair enough, you can either not play again, leave some constructive criticism or give it a review. The chance of Spiral making the game "Free to play permanently" holds the same chance that people will stop playing DotA. It will not happen for the foreseeable future or ever, unless something that means it can be Free to Play happens. As it stands, the game will stay at the price it is at. Also, instead of using metacritic as a final decider on a game (terrible idea) people should try it themselves on the many free to play events that get hosted.

I never trusted the metacritic rating because ive seen games with ratings on them and they havent even been released to the public yet. What i like to do is youtube some gameplay footage and see the mechanics of the game. If there is a demo for it,then thats just fantastic cause you can feel what the game is like for yourself. Its just a habit for me to overlook what rating they give games. There's real gems out there, just gotta know where to look
