Master not playable?

I'm new to this series so I'm sure this is a silly question to the initiated, but I keep seeing that you customize a character you control... but not in-battle? They aren't playable? Are they just for running around a hub world or something?

I was looking at some of the dlc costumes and it looks like all the the ones priced at $.29 aren't able to be purchased because they have no add to cart button, anyone know what's up with that?

I don´t know what to say about this

I am a huge fan of the FATE Anime

I got this game for like 50 € but I got disappointed

I thought it´s more like an Anime Fighting Game but idk

I am just confused on what it´s supposed to be everytime I give it a try again
