Left mouse Turns attack backwards

Everytime I just want to attack with the left mouse button my player turns backward toward the left side of the screen. Any Ideas?

actually right mouse does the same. I changed light/ heavy and range attack buttons from mouse to keys on numpad (mouse doesn't really help in this game anyway). That solved accidental turns problem for me.

Character is following mouse pointer, you have to pay attention on which side of the screen is.

Yeah, that sucks. I can understand when when it comes to shooting, but when it also affects slashing I don't really have much time to pay attention where the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse pointer is when there are 15 enemies on the screen

I agree, the mouse cursor directing melee attacks is a very stupid design.

My idea: don't use the mouse. Remap the controls so that you only use the keyboard. Switch back to mouse only when you need to aim the turrets.

I just finished a playthrough using 100% keyboard, but I still recommend switching to mouse whenever you're using turrets.
