What is grapple damage?

Is it when you grab them and stab them? Grab them and throw them? What is it?

Pouncing? Are you sure, because I'm pretty sure I tested this with rex and somebody else and it made no diffrence.

I actually dont know but thats the thing that woudl make any sense

When you grab someone that's referred to as grappling in the original game and Rex's(the lucha wrestler with 50% bonus grapple damage) trading card says "Grab 'em and throw 'em.” so my current theory is grapple damage would be when you pick a guy up and toss him. And that possibly includes when you hit other people with the body. But this is all just speculation I really don't know.
