TimeShift

TimeShift

Why is this so underrated?
Back in 2007, in one week two fantastic games came out - Witcher and TimeShift, wich I pirated.
I'm not proud of it.
I was young. 15 or something.
Funny - they were my first pirated games that actually worked.
Since that time, I've bought Witcher twise and got TimeShift in used games store. So I manage to pay my part for that fun I had back in 2007

Both these games were good.

But timeshift was forgotten in a view of Orange Box, CoD4, Bioshock, Mass Effect, STALKER S.C.

Damn, as I google 2007 games, 2007 was fantastic year for games.

Anyway. My point and ultimate question:

If these game is so good, why it is forgotten like a not shaved hue-hue of your 1st gf...what was her name again...?

Marketing, timing...

Like they say timing is everything.

BTW: You should never forget the name of your first love. :-)

Also to add a lot of people are having trouble getting the game to even run on their machines. So... yeah. There's some complaining about it as of late. :P

Couple of ideas to get software patched to run on current hardware.

Same thread, Scroll down to 2nd paragraph.

Pay close attention to "TO FLIP THIS AROUND A LITTLE:" section.

Until the above idea is widely accepted, expect nothing to change.

Q: When you buy something, you expect it to work, right?

dude. screw steam. I've moved to gog.com

STEAM
Pros:
  • They were first in the market so they have more games
  • Big Picture
Cons:
  • DRM
  • Absolutely NO support - what is there sucks so much that it is outrages
  • Unfair prices - regional Ripoffs
  • Payed soundtracks and no bonuses - just game and fk you
GOG
Pros:
  • No DRM
  • Full support - very fast from my exp
  • Money-back guarantee
  • Fair Price Package - Because $1 is not €
  • GOG Galaxy - for updates, friends, online games - still drm free!!!
Cons:
  • Less games than Steam
Origin
Pros:
  • EA games
Cons:
  • It exists

Haha KyrDerz, straight to the point... TimeShift along other similar "unique" underdogs are put off the shelves for whatever reason, for instance see Second Sight, which is not available in any digital form from either Steam or GoG anymore.

It is truly a shame, when Steam releases early access crap & non-finished products (although GoG doesn't). Money, marketing AKA visibility & hype (sadly) work wonders :Pooop:

The game had a rocky development cycle and wasn't reviewed too well, which I kind of agree with, don't get me wrong it's a good and fun shooter, but other than that there's not much meat into this game
