Report a translation problem
I had a problem: Silo does not start and was not displayed interface. I solved the problem as follows: in the folder with the program Silo have an archive of "SDCopy.zip". You can unpack the contents of the archive in the folder Silo in the "My Documents": C: \ User \ Documents \ Silo \ 2.3-x64.
Substituted and adding files. It should all make.
I apologize for errors - translated from Russian to English.
1) See the description of the release on the official website Silo and cgsociety forum: https://www.nevercenter.com/silo/release_notes/
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=175&t=1237509
Can you find something useful. I hope you have a 64-bit Windows.
2) I understand you can not find the folder "Silo" in the system folder:
C: \ Users \ your username \ Documents
And when you install the program does not create the folder "Silo" at this address.
Perhaps the problem in the properties of the folder "Documents": a ban could write in it (try to uncheck the "Read Only"). Or it is hidden (mood browser to Show hidden files and folders).
3) Create a folder manually "Silo" at: C: \ Users \ your username \ Documents. Next, in the "Silo" folder create folder "2.3-x64". Unzip the contents of this folder archive "SDCopy.zip" from the folder with the program:
...: \ Steam \ steamapps \ common \ Silo_2.
4) ... an extreme option ... you can try to simply unzip to C: \ Users \ your user name \ Documents archive at this link: https://yadi"dot"sk/d/6wbZWo1nmgxFE
Steam does not allow write correctly link, instead "dot" put a simple point.
That's my folder "Silo" in Documents.
les sauvegardes ne marche pas
backups do not work
Have you checked to see if they are in the Autosave folder?
The Autosave folder is located here: c:\\users\<you>\My Documents\Silo\2.3-x64\Autosaves
The folder 2.3-x64 may not be the same for you if you are not using the 64bit version of Silo2.
The locations should still be easy to find if you look in the Silo folder shown previously.
I had this same error message after setting up Windows 10 and found that it also happens when your "My Documents" folder is a networked drive. Silo actually seems to create the proper files, but still spits out the error and wont start. Messing with permissions, running Silo as admin, and such didn't solve it. Only putting the "My Documents" location back on the local drive actually fixed it for me.
