black screen cs 1.6

Hello
I am having a problem with my cs1.6
when i install the cs from the steam i can't find the file of the game in my steamapp the (cstrike) file
although in the library the game exists , whenever I open in it full screen the screen goes black, i can hear that it is working just the screen remains black and when I minimize it the game crashes, if i open it in a window it works fine but again it crashes when i minimize it,
i checked my drivers and the direct x everything is updated , the screen resolution ratio is correct
what should i do ??
