Vanilla servers?
Hello, so I have a Half-Life group where we do events sometimes together to "revive" the games, therefore I have a event to host on Saturday, and the game played is gonna be Counter-Strike, I want to play just regular Counter-Strike, now my question is: Does someone have a TRUE VANILLA server (not a public server you're thinking), without any AMX and Metamod plugins?Thanks :D

AMX doesn't do anything except allow you run plug ins such as Auto Mix Pug.

Then you don't understand what AMX is for because you can have AMX on a server without any plugins active and it's a vanilla server.

I understand, and no one would have AMX without plugins, im talking about no /rs, no map voting, just a normal dedicated server

Well, I don't think so. I mean, there are servers like that, but its kinda rare. If the owner would not run amx and other plugins on it, probably for the same reasons like you have, I doubt he would publish server IP somewhere therefore impossible for you to find that server anyway.
I suggest to find alternative, such as "classic cs1.6" servers where they are pretty close to "vanilla". Or, you could rent one yourself (its really cheap man) and set it up to your liking.
Also another option - make friends, be active, become admin, get to know head admin and ask him to dedicate one server for your party. :)
Oh, and of course, you still could invite your friends and go for LAN PARTY!
