Random crashes to desktop

Warframe keeps crashing to desktop during missions. Sometimes I can get through missions ok, and sometimes it crashes. There doesn't seem to be any common factor for the crashes - different maps, actions, enemies - no particular thing seems to trigger it. It just freezes for a moment, then goes black, then I'm on my desktop with the little error reporting window. The game runs smoothly until the problem - no framefate issues or anything.

Has anyone had the same problem and solved it? Please help. Thanks!

specs:
Windows 8.1 64bit
Nvidia 295GTX
MSI NF980-G65
8GB RAM
1.81 TB free
Astro Gaming headset
Logitech G19s & G700s

I have just the same issues as you, random crashes, some times I can play several missions no problem, and other times it crashes even in the main menu. I beat my record just now with 3 crashes in under 15 minutes.

Mine never crashes in menus, only during missions. But then I'd be lucky for 3 in 15.

I get crashes constantly as well but a little different ones, I get the hardware failure crashes. Warframe manages to crash my GPU drivers.

I thing it has something to do with Firefox or web browsers in general, try shut it off before playing .. it works for me

I never switch on any other programs, and this crap happens. Formatted PC and it's still like that.

*up*, have the same problem, need solutions ! nothing is open except warframe when it crash, not even fire wall

Same now. Warframe was very stable to me, only 2 crashes in 200 hours of gameplay (and only when I used SweetFX). Now, just today I had 3 crashes, the last one in 25~ minutes of survival in the void :/

So must be something with the lastest hotfixes. I hope the next one have "some random crashes fixed" in the release note.

Yeah which means after the DDoS attack, it's a DE problem...

Tell me why my browser(s) can't connect to your web server?
Tell me why my Warframe client (after 2 reinstalls) and a roll back to a week ago, can't connect to your web server, DE?

Because it boggles my mind.

Before April 16th 2014, Everything worked fine... After April 16th 2014 can't connect to anything. Handling customer service over reddit. Great.

And another crash.
I have noticed this crashes happens after a few screen hiccups. The game freeze for less than a second and then come back. Sometimes it only happens once and then it crash. Now I had like 5 small freezes in 1 or 2 minutes and I knew it was going to crash and it did.

I hope the next hotfix is soon.

Just in regards to the crash on Windows 8.1 I'm wondering if you could force it to run under Windows 7. Run it under the whole Windows Compatibility thing.

Mobile Defence II - crashed always. Fps down - go go go on desktop. No fix. Not work on the bugs. I do not even make sense to go on this mission. It is to buy platinum and bought the necessary drawings by people who have super-top computers, who have no one crash in game.

I already had a crash today and it sucks, but I run the game on a GTX 780, max settings at 60 fps and I still have crashes. It has nothing to do with the performance it seems.

And I suppose the next hotfix is coming soon, as the other have been very quick.

My thoughts, as well. I have some older parts in my rig, but it still runs smoothly except for the crash. I just hope you're right about the hotfix being soon, as well. fingers crossed.......

New record on crash today, 10 seconds from the log in screen...
And the crash before that was while waiting for teammates to arrive at the evacuation point. Just got my first stance drops too:(
