You only need the VPN to launch the game, there's no other way to get around your country's stupid laws.
So i just checked with the support of G 2 A and they send the keys 3 days later at the 30. January. This option is gone for me, I want to play on release -...-
I think you have to use vpn all the time to be able to play in germany.
Not how it works, Steam checks your IP when you launch the game, after that you can turn it off, then if you close you'll need the VPN to launch it, but it's not needed while in-game.
Thanks guys found a page GameShop.at, a site I also used for fallout 3 uncut. They sell AT versions of the game at the 27. January. So I can play and activate it without VPN. Bought it from them.

You don't understand, you won't be able to activate it with a German IP since it will be blacklisted.
Indeed, no need for VPNs at all for this one. Heck, look at the "Austrian/Swiss" page on http://buy.dyinglightgame.com/ They deliberately show you the Austrian retailers who have made it their main business to sell uncensored versions of games to Germans. They know what's up!

You are wrong there a 2 versions the global one and the AT one. The AT one is not geolocked or locked in any way for Germans. I should be fine.

Wie schon geschrieben, ich habs nun bei GameShop.at gekauft für rund 50€. Ich habe gelesen (google) das Dying Light ohne probleme mit der AT-PEGI version in Deutschland spielbar und aktivierbar sein wird, dies soll TECLAND bestätigt haben. Da ich bereits schon 2x UNCUT AT Spiele dort gekauft habe, vertraue ich darauf, dass es diesmal ebenfalls keine Probleme geben wird. Generell wüde ich also bei diesem Spiel zu AT-Shops raten und kein GLOBAL Key von anderen seiten kaufen.
Jo das mit der AT Version ist mit bewusst das man die aktivieren und spielen kann ohne vpn nur leider muss man dann bis Freitag warten hätte schon gern morgen gezockt. Ich suchti :D
