The DLC will contain the following features:
>One Hundered new events for important women in history such as Queen Elizabeth I, Caterina Sforza and Sophie Germain.
>Female advisors can appear at your court in place of their male counterparts.
>Female portaits for all 22 advisor types in the game.
I do not like this first one. This is supposed to be an alt history sandbox game, so having events for real historical figures in the middle of a game that's presumably had an alternate history going back to the mid-1400's is completely immersion-breaking.
I really like the other two though.
Lol I know right? Love it when people try to use trump cards based on ignorance.
China also had exceptions to the "male only" club, the most famous being Wu Zetian (arguably the most powerful woman in history) and her female prime minister. Not to mention many of the Empress Dowagers who effictively were the de facto rulers of China, for better or worse (end of Imperial China).
Actually:
A) I wasn't aware it was based on anything. I had always just thought it was a Disney thing.
B) I was just making a joke. It wasn't a political statement, or commentary on where women belong or whatever. Just poking fun at a Disney classic.
Its okay, that is why I said "ignorance".
It isn't to say you are unintellegent, but you just didn't know. Ignorance isn't an insult, it is an awakening word. Up to the person to either own it and learn or to dig their heels and bark the same nonsense. I have plenty of ignorant moments as would anybody.
Plus I don't see how anything you said could be taken as a joke since you were not only mistaken on Mulan, but also Joan of Arc's history. It is just hard to make comments on a history game about history when most of the players are buffs on the subject.
I mean really.

Yes there are a lot of dynamic pulse events, but not dynamic "historical" events. Only a few nations get many DHEs which leaves a lot that can be added to the game. I don't think you can have too many DHEs. They make playing in those areas more memorable than a generic no-dhe nation.
Top 10 Nations with DHEs:
1) Ming (almost 90 events)
2)Netherlands
3)France
4)Russia
5)Japan
6)England
7)Sweden
8)Spain
9)Austria
10)Venice (almost 40 events)
Only about 2 dozen other nations have a mix of 10-40 events and they are (surprise) mostly outside of Europe.
So there might be a lot of historical events in total, but it isn't spread out enough to feel a difference.
GG paradox.
Music mods are easy to update on your own btw. Just right click on the .mod file and edit in text editor or whatever. Just change the version to the current one. Takes 5 seconds.
