This game can be summerized as: "What if Titanfall was jank, designed worse and set in Warhammer universe?".
The premise sounded interesting, with the player in the role of a bounty hounter with a dog with Doom (2016)/boomer shooter-esque gameplay, but after spending some time with it, i was just disappointed. The comparison to Doom is quite off, since this has a parkour elements akin to aformentioned Titanfall and, bizzarely enough, looter shooter elements, which feel like they were just shoved in for no reason.
the shootout's are very chaotic, with enemies being everywhere and able to deal quite a damage - the dog can help, but sometimes his Ai takes a while, before attacking someone. The guns are plenty, but none of them are that satysfying to use. In fact, a lot of the time i just used execution, because that takes only some stamina and in moments, where i had two enemies in the front and three, right behind my back, it was a lifesaver.
It's also quite buggy, but that's not the main issue - it has plenty of mechanics, strung together, but ultimately game comes off as it doesn't know what it's going for and what's here feels like a mess as a result, It's not awful and i wish i could give it meh, instead of thumbs up or down, but what's here was done better in other games. If i want a shooter built around parkour, then I'll grab Titanfall 2 and if i want a frenetic shooter, i'll play the newer Doom games. This, unfortunately, doesn't anything that well, for me to recommend it. What a shame.
