So how did you find the ending. I am still a bit baffled. Allthough CDPR did not do a Mass Effect 3 on us they still did not listen to the feedback Bioware had.
Do NOT introduce a new enemy/threat in the last minutes of the game, that makes the whole games story arc pointless.
The enemy I am talking about is never talked about as being a force of its own just a side effect of the Wild Hunt. To me it always seemed that it came AFTER the Wild Hunt conquered a world. To me as well the motivation of the wild hunt made no sense after that.
So the old Elves looked for a new world to conquer cause their old world was dying? So they just freeze the very same world they want to invade using Ciris powers to death? I dont get it. Maybe someone who did read all the books might explain this to me.
Ciri power is not about freezing anything, it's about crossing barriers between worlds. Although wild hunt can cross thanks to navigators, they can do it only on a small scale. To do it on large scale, they need Ciri (although i have no idea how they would use here, it is implied this would kill her)
Our universe will die in same way. so it's a death that will take millions of years.
Honestly this doesn't make much sense to me, they need to move thousands of soldiers between worlds, ok.
They can already travek between worlds on a ship of 100's of soldiers, and it appears to me they could do that atleast once month, since the Wild Hunt never launched a counterattack after there defeat at Kaer (can't spell it). So these are Elves too, live 100's if not 1000's of years and do not age, why don't they find an isolated spot in the world and bring in the invasion force slowly overtime? Unless they're trying to move there entire civilization quickly, which isn't really implied even though there is the White Cold.
And I say it's not implied they are in great immediate danger is the World you go to during a mission to sway Eredins Viceroy (can't remember his name) looks pretty damn good. The only indication of the White Cold is on the Red Riders, Eredins men of the wild hunt. Why do they have it? Doesn't make any sense to me.
also i dont think they knew until wticher 3 thata their world is close to get frozen anytime soon, and earlier they were just jumping into other worlds to grab some leite waerriors like geralt or witches to help them in some war against unicorns.
Well that basically means that the Wild Hunt was never the real threat. It was the white frost all along. The game was about solving the Wild Hunt threat but went on after their defeat to well saving the whole known world from being iced. That was anticlimactic.
dont try to basically like criticize the game, theres a lot of rabid fanboys just attacking anyone who is. give it some time.
like the whole storyline of witcher is completely full of bad story telling tropes , white hair, amesia, scar over their eyes, chosen one, and ciri herself is basically one giant "mary sue" i think its called, becomes very cringe enducing when she did the whole screaming power thing in kaer morhen
