Finally, on my GPU r9 290x, i got over 60 FPS with HIGH settings and all effects on! Thank you devs, for this patch, and i hope you will work a lot more on your PC port, because this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing! Keep the good work and cheers!
Yes! This patch seriously improved performance for me too (70% improvement)! Incredible! Amazing! Splendid! There's no words to describe this monumental day for PC gaming. Perhaps it's time to lower those ridiculous system requirements on the store page too, Techland?
With this, let's enter an era where we don't have to have super computers to run modern PC games! An era where there's a balance of performance and visual fidelity! (AMD GPU and CPU over here.)
I have Intel CPU Q6600 OCed to 3.7 GHz, pretty old but gold CPU, and r9 290x GPU, patch is burstly fixed performance, i can even play on medium without effects on 30 fps before, and after this patch, i turned on all effects and high textures and got 50-120 fps (depending on area). Thank you developers, awesome patch!
I can confirm that the performance is a lot better now. Min 40 Max 90 avg 55-61. A little tip: Disable Filmgrain. For some reason, it runs better without it (and the game also looks better)
Textures on High, Shadows and Vegetation on mid, Ambient Oclusion On. Distant view 50%. Vsync off
Turn off all efect only put Ambient Onclusion - ON, and Motion Blur - ON. Set Shadows to medium or low (depend what GPU you have), and foliage quality put to medium And textures set to medium, if you have FPS issue, it will help a lot, and also put the game on Fullscreen, it helps about 10 FPS boost. I hope i helped a lot :-D...
Hey guys I have a Radeon Hd 7900 and the game can't even get past the loading screen. It just stops responding at the first one. Did any of you have this issue on AMD cards?
wow the performance improvement is insane. I had 40-70ish FPS before with an i5-3450 and R9 290. Now I'm getting 60-90FPS easily with higher view distance (everything else maxed).
I can actually say this game is really well optimized now.

I feel as though there is a nongraphical related problem at work here, but I may be wrong. I have a 7970 and do not have this problem.

That feels bro. I had a Radeon HD-6670 one week ago before the patch.
Getting great performance (SOLID 60FPS YEAH)with my 2 r9 290x cards at 1440p max settings it was a great patch. Only problem left is the flickering of blood in crossfire.
I have AMD CPU.
