I can't honestly recommend running Steam and Nexus mods at the same time however it is possible, I can not guaranteee you won't have issues and as such recommend you do a clean install of Skyrim if at all possible (but if not don't worry)."
are you saying it's ideal to install a non-steam version of Skyrim: SE, or just not to combine pre-existing Steam-based mods with the nexus ones, and instead install Skyrim fresh (via steam) first, with no other mod packages?
Added that to the back burner since I bigger/more worthwhile of my time (been so busy atm due to recent and future surgeries so need as much work as I can get) but I'll get do it.
