Awesome game was having a bad day thought I would try it out ended up playing for two hours fresh and simple game but still challenging. 10/10.

It's okay. That's the highest praise I can really give. The game feels hard for all the wrong reasons.

The simplified style(?) of all obstacles being pink is a serious handicap, both aesthetically and functionally. It’s very difficult to keep track of small projectiles when they quite literally disappear behind any other obstacle in the scene. Weirdly though, the game isn’t even strict about this style. There are some great-looking levels, which use various values of pink and white highlights to create contrast and depth, but most levels don’t do anything like that.

The game has no progression of difficulty or mechanics. Move as little as possible, dodge the pink stuff, that’s it. The tutorials feel equally as challenging and novel as the final boss. Hell, even Undertale had more interesting obstacle mechanics, such as blue ones that forced you to stand still, and orange ones that forced you to move. I can only imagine how much more depth this game would have if it had mechanics like that, but I guess that’s impossible, since everything has to be pink.

The telegraphing of obstacle movements is not consistent at all. Sometimes it warns you that something is about to happen, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it telegraphs properly at first but then forgets about it later. Some telegraphing is done with translucent boxes, some with directional spikes, some with flashing white, some with flashing magenta, but none of them follow any specific rules, and could indicate incoming projectiles, an instant hit zone, or whatever it else it feels like.

When you are hit, the game knocks you away, supposedly to get you out of danger, but 99% of the time, it puts you in more danger. I've had occasions where it shoved me even deeper into an obstacle, or areas where I couldn't even see myself.

Dashing when not inputting a direction sends you to the right, for some reason. I don’t know why it couldn’t just act as a dodge while staying in place.

Keybinds cannot be changed. Would love to use a mouse button to dash, but space is the only button you can use.

Replay value is nonexistent. No collectibles, no level editor, and the most ambitious thing you can possibly achieve is completing a level without getting hit.
