Pretty alright, overall a good time.
There is some element of it feeling like formulaic "AAA" open world sludge, with camps, and repeated activities feeling like a checklist against a few types of icons on the map.
Performance and visuals are excellent considering my ancient hardware. (i5 3570, GTX 1060)
I played on Survival mode, which I think is supposed be harder, but you mostly just lose some QoL like fast travel, without making it more of an interesting challenge overall. I would have liked it to be a little more difficult.
I enjoyed the story more than I expected to, that's not something I usually care about. It's nothing special, but the presentation is excellent. The characters are pretty good, and the animation and cinematics are just really well made. I don't like the story in the final area of the game as much, leading up to the finale.

Quite underrated Game for some reason. While the gameplay is nothing too amazing, your general openworld busywork game with consolified UI and controls, it makes up for it with the superb voiceacting, stories and atmospheric environments.

pros:
-Amazing stories
-Great voiceacting
-Good soundesign
-Simple combat, but somewhat challenging (specialy hordes)
-Very good performance and visuals

cons:
-UI is a bit stupid with things taking multiple clicks to fill your ammo etc
-Same keybinds used for multiple actions can cause frustrating experiences sometimes.

I have been playing a lot longer than is on record (Steam deck) and I was enjoying my time with it. That was up until I encountered the "bunker ladder glitch."

Basically you go down a ladder into a bunker to retrieve a map and after you pick it up, you can't get out. Bike is too far to fast travel, you respawn in the bunker and all my auto saves are now in the bunker after trying to reload etc. This glitch has not been fixed since the game came out and judging other comments, I am basically softlocked and need to restart my game and just hope it doesn't happen again. Absolutely unacceptable.
