in an easy to use fashion however and some things would just require me to rewrite large parts of it. You also sound like someone that works with graphics a lot and my guess is that's where you got all these ideas :) Unfortunately the wallpaper is just a webpage and not a application where I could have a lot more control over things. So things like sorting on file date is just not possible as all I have is the filename. I don't have access to your HD ( security reasons ) but get them from WE. Not even sure if I could decode a LUT file easily, let alone apply it.
I do like some ideas but I think those that might be implemented will just lead to more work to even make them possible as a lot of code was not written to be generic but work for specific situations. And to make things worse, for almost 2 years I have wanted to update the wallpaper with a bunch of new fixes, transitions and some features, but every time I check it I just see more things I need to fix because of all the changes. I still need to get that update out first and then see if I still got the energy to keep going.
But I do really like a bunch of these suggestions and might look into some of the easier ones at some point but just don't want to get your hopes up because it will either be really hard or impossible to implement some due to it being a webwallpaper or because of how its setup ( and i would need to rewrite a lot ). And I still have to get that other update out that I really want to, but just can't seem to find the time and energy to get bug free ( i really messed up on that ) so I can put it up on steam.
