Bypassing Chaos Invasion Glitch
For whatever reason every time the chaos invasion event kicks off the game stops, it still runs but refuses to allow the turn to end or any armies to be moved. Untill such a time as this is fixed you can get around it by using this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=708361850 as this stops the chaos invasion firing hence sorts the problem out, it does mean unfortunately you get no chaos to fight, but hey it works for now

This was apparently caused by having too many allies.

Try breaking as many alliances as possible before Chaos arrive.

I unticked Chaos please wait mod and cancelled my one defensive alliance, game no longer freezes

How you unticked Chaos? I am in war with his minor allies habe no alliance and again glitch stop me

He means he's using a mod called Chaos Please Wait, and that after disabling it it fixed the problem.

I know that, I am testing every mod that that late Chaos it seems that afetr last update they give chaos invasion glitch without them and with alleciancse I got invasione without glitch

Pardon ....with alliances I had Chaos invasion without Glitch, as these mods change spawn of Chaos armies I suspect that could be same problem that Prater found with startpoints

After some tests it seems that Mods Chaos Wait , Chaos Wait Further and Chaos Harder after update cause invasion glitch. Before last update they did not make this. I tested these mods on Wake overhaul mod(version 1.55 updated) and did not see any invasion glicht.
