Midnight Update Notes

The Midnight Program created a robot, which survivors have dubbed D.A.V.E (Defensive Autonomous Vehicular Emplacement) is an experimental AI piloted tank, its AI went haywire and will attack any survivors or zombies that enter its line of sight, however when defeated it will drop plenty of good loot.
You can access this area with a Midnight Keycard (51919), which are acquired from Artemis Platform zombies or Airdrop calls, you can then use this keycard inside the Locke Dynamics tunnel.

New Additions:
Weapons:

- Added Dual Pistols.
--- Combining two pistols is better than one! Certain pistols and SMGs will allow you to combine two in order to dual wield them. Try and collect them all - they including both collectable and suppressed variants!

- Added the Tempest rifle. (51322)
--- This next generation weapon has variable settings, allowing the change between a hard hitting battle rifle and a faster firing assault rifle, toggleable via the laser!

- Added the Intragat machine pistol. (52286, 52287)
--- This simple machine pistol can be found at militia locations. Its form factor lends to it being able to be dual wielded!

- Added the Sundoor submachine gun. (51321, 51347)
--- This deadzone SMG boasts a high fire rate and damage with little recoil.


- Added the Trident Rocket Launcher. (52313)
--- This rocket launcher comes standard with an explosive rocket, but can also fire other types of rockets to meet your needs.


- Added the Frostbite sniper rifle. (52300, 52304)
--- This anti-material rifle is tuned for long range engagements against soft targets, having less drop and slightly more damage against enemies, but less effective against structures and vehicles. You can acquire this sniper rifle from the airdrop.
--- You might be able to make it a bit quieter…


- Added the Hera Grenade Launcher. (51324, 52078)
--- This grenade launcher is a primary slotted weapon, but has better velocity and slightly faster handling than the Hermes. Pair it with a good secondary and you'll be ready to take on anything!


- Added the Falcon .50-SP and Golden Falcon-SP. (52294, 52295)
--- Make a loud gun quiet!

- Added the AH-46 King’s Hand Attack Helicopter. (51032)
--- Found on Artemis Platform, this helicopter has a pilot in control of missiles, and a gunner in control of a heavy automatic gun.
--- This also has a special boost capability, usable via activating the siren! It can only be used every so often, so make sure to time it right!

- Added the Falker Fighter. (51033)
--- Purchasable from Blackburn in the safezone, this quick triplane has a gun in the pilot seat, perfect for dogfighting!

- Added the Strike Call - Smoke Concealment (51333)
--- This strike will drop a massive smoke cloud on a location, obscuring visibility for a long period of time. You will be able to find these preloaded into LTLMs, a rare drop, or crafted!


Ammo and Attachments:
- Added Precision Ammo boxes. (52085, 52086, 52087)
--- These refill standard Marksman Magazines and Rifle Clips. They come in packs of 20, 75, and 200. See the Revamps section below for more info.
- Added Armor Piercing Marksman Magazines and Armor Piercing Rifle Clips.
--- These give full powered rifles the ability to raid! Refilled via high-cal, they can be acquired via Spec ops, Deadzone, and Airdrops.
- Added Dual Pistol Magazine (51338)
--- Crafted using a metal ingot while having dual pistols in your inventory, this provides 16 rounds to put down range!
- Added Fragmentation Rockets, Explosive Rockets, and Tandem Rockets. (52314, 52315, 52316)
--- Used in the Trident RPG, Frag rockets have a large radius and are designed for soft targets, Explosive Rockets come standard and have good overall stats, and Tandem Rockets are designed to for anti-armor and structures.
- Added HMG Explosive Box. (51050)
--- Designed for combat usage, these rounds do not raid, but explode on impact, causing damage over a radius. This can be loaded into the HMT-250, or the AH-46 Kings Hand!
- Added Overpressured Revolver Clip. (52265)
--- These rounds are hot, being more accurate and powerful, but harder to handle. Utilizes the new precision ammo.
- Added Snakeshot Revolver Clip. (52266)
--- These shells turn your standard revolver into a shotgun. Accuracy and handling are a bit worse.
- Added 12 Gauge Dragon's Breath. (52264)
--- These shells are REALLY hot, dealing more damage and making quite the spectacle!
- Added 12 Gauge Explosive Slugs (52263)
--- These slugs create an explosion on impact, dealing damage over an area.

- Added the Collimator Sight. (52269)
--- Crafted with the Hunting Handbook, this old school optic offers a wide field of view.
- Added the Mark 1 Bayonet. (52267)
--- Crafted with the Hunting Handbook, this fits on the Private and Crown, increasing movement speed by 10% at the cost of some handling.
- Added the Walker Monitoring Conversion. (52242)
--- Crafted with the Police Handbook, this set of attachments greatly improves recoil and firerate, with reduced damage.
- Added the Weebley Stock. (52270)
--- Crafted with the Police Handbook, this greatly improves recoil with a slower aimspeed.
- Added the Weebley Bayonet. (52268)
--- Crafted with the Hunting Handbook, this increases movement speed by 10% at the cost of some handling. Even officers have to charge!
- Added the Noses-12 Hunter Barrel. (52271)
--- Crafted with the Hunting Handbook, this increases damage and accuracy, at the cost of handling.
- Added the Noses-12 Padding Kit. (52273)
--- Crafted with the Police Handbook, this improves recoil with a slower aim speed.
- Added the Cavalry Dragoon Kit. (52272)
--- Crafted with the Police Handbook, this barrel and grip improve damage and handling with a reduced firerate and slower aimspeed.
- Added the Crown Tritium Sights. (52274)
--- Crafted with the Hunting Handbook, this optic provides a bit of zoom and improved accuracy.


Tools:
- Added Armored Structures.
--- Crafted with an Overdrive fuse acquired from defeating DAVE, these structures have double the HP of metal structures, presenting quite the challenge.
- Added the Ballistic Shield. (51349)
--- Crafted using an Overdrive Fuse as well, this shield protects from incoming fire.
- Added the Midnight Blade. (51348)
--- Crafted using an Overdrive Fuse as well, this sword provides great movement speed when equipped.
- Added the Consolidator. (52095)
--- This helpful little tool sorts out all your materials and stacks them up neatly!
- Added the Inferno Axe. (52260)
--- This sharpened fire axe is much more powerful and effective than a standard axe. Look to a formerly bald man to get this, or upgrade a fire axe!
- Added the Halligan Bar. (52261)
--- This firefighter breaching tool is more effective than a standard prybar. Look to a formerly bald man to get this, or look to rarely get them from firefighter zombies!
- Added The Irons. (52262)
--- A combination of the Halligan and the Inferno Axe, this multitool fits all needs.
- Added the Lumberjack Maul. (52255)
--- This camp axe combined with a breaching hammer gives the best of both worlds for chopping and breaking.
- Added the Throwing Axe. (52246)
--- This throwable serves as another option to a silent kill, or for a silly way to chop down trees.
- Added the Treasure Magnet. (52091)
--- This guarantees a crate when used while fishing.
- Added the Double Hook. (52090)
--- This gives a chance to catch more than one item while fishing.
- Added the Lucky Clover. (52092)
--- This increases the player's luck, and provides a chance to catch more than one item while fishing.

--- Bright and flavorful with a bright sight, this one is quite the eyecatcher - one way or another.

--- The type of gun to have by your side when you're dehydrating and all you've got is a 6% bag of chips.

--- Toned in a dark grey with night irons for stealth.

- Added Flight Helmet, Top, and Bottom. (52330-52332)
--- Dropped from new flight zombies that also drop helicopter related supplies!
- Added Headlamp. (52336)
--- Acquired from camp zombies and construction zombies. This hopefully doesn't need an explanation, but it provides light.

NPCS:
- Added some more NPCs.
--- A new Visitor, equipped with an explosive arsenal.
--- A CEO with a simple arsenal.
--- A CEO only showing up when there's poor weather.
--- Andersson Robotics Model 07 "SAMR", programmed to deal with items of a radioactive/technological matter.
- Added quest reward stores for Arthur, Cecilia, and Edward.
--- These provide some additional benefit to completing their quests, by providing unique items.
- Added new art in the files.


Revamps:

- Revamped Map area, extending the map a significant amount to the east.
--- This area should provide great base building locations. It also additionally has areas that have a bit of extra loot, and even bunkers that players can build in!

- Revamped the Northern Deadzone.
--- Added a second story and made slight changes to the general layout in an effort to make the location more interesting.

- Revamped Redgrove Airfield.
--- Redgrove Airfield has received two new buildings in an effort to make PVP more interesting along with better looting opportunities.


- Revamped Rifle and Marksman ammo, adding the precision ammo type.
--- Originally rifles and DMRs required high-cal, which unfortunately made them quite expensive to use regularly. This was done for raiding balance purposes. In order to allow for them to be easier to run and maintain, they now refill with Precision Ammo, which can be found much more commonly.
--- Any previous ammo will automatically be converted to the new ammo.

- Completely revamped fishing, adding better tables that can be caught from as well as unique items that affect drops.
--- Fishing drops are determined by multiple factors, including the weather, moon, and items in inventory.

- Reworked the chart to have better visual fidelity.

Adjustments:
Weapons:
- Adjusted the LTLM to spawn with the Strike Call - Smoke Concealment by default.
- Adjusted the Strike Call - Precision Strike to deal less damage.
- Adjusted the Strike Call - Precision Strike to give 2 strikes when crafted/purchased.
- Adjusted the Strike Call - Mortar Strike to give 3 strikes when crafted/purchased.
- Adjusted the Strike Call - Mortar Strike to require 6 mortars instead of 4.
- Adjusted the costs of Strike Call sales to Cruz.

- Adjusted Anti-material magazines to have 5 rounds instead of 4.
- Adjusted Hemel 20MM to deal slightly less barricade and structure damage.
- Adjusted all pistols to be equipable from the inventory.
- This will offer more opportunities to use the pistols, and allows for more unique loadouts!
- Adjusted the Walker to no longer require Nitro in the crafting recipe.
- The aforementioned raid changes are the reason.
- Adjusted the Crown to allow sights and tacticals.
- Adjusted the Noses-12 to allow sights and grips.
- Adjusted the Private and variants to allow for tacticals.
- Adjusted the Weebley to allow all attachments.
- Adjusted the range of the Valhalla SGNL-512 from 100m to 50m and reduced its per pellet damage from 9 to 7.
- Adjusted Looty’s damage minimum falloff distance from 0m to 10m
- Adjusted Bisey damage from 17 to 15.

Clothes:
- Adjusted Police vests to provide 25% armor, up from 20%.
- Adjusted Police pants to have 6x3 storage, up from 5x3.
- Adjusted Military fatigues to provide 2.5% per part.
- Adjusted all Riot clothes to have 5% speed reduction.
- Decreased on vest from 10 to 5%, increased on top and bottom to 5%.
- Adjusted Riot Helmet to provide 35% armor, up from 30%.
- Adjusted Riot Vest to provide 30% armor, up from 25%.
- Adjusted EOD armor to provide a -15% movement speed multiplier, up from -25%.
- Adjusted Hiking Packs to have 10x10 storage, up from 8x10.
- Adjusted Hiking Packs to provide a -10% movement speed multiplier, up from -15%.

NPCs:
- Adjusted some visitors to buy special case items.
- Adjusted visitor restrictions on certain platform sales.
- Adjusted the prices of rifle clips and DMR magazines to be less.
- The aforementioned raid changes are the reason.
- Adjusted some quests to show unlocking of stores as rewards.
- Adjusted Chuck to no longer sell the Bisey.
- Adjusted Ashley’s knives prices.


More:
- Adjusted several spawns.
--- Reduced ECS-25 drop rates from airdrops.
- Added High Tech Fuses to horde beacons.
- Added Tonijn and RSS-03 to airdrops.
- Adjusted regular Long Gun Crates to have the Ulfberht, instead of the CSO-85.
- Adjusted Military Long Gun Crates to have the CSO-85, instead of the Ulfberht.
- Added more helpful tips to the loading screen.


Fixes:
- Fixed guns missing emissive textures.
- Fixed a few spots where players could clip inside map geometry.
- Fixed a few stuck spots.
- Fixed an issue with the safezone clip.
- Many more bug fixes.

Quick question, i've tried the Falker (51033) just now, and it has the chance of shooting itself if shot from first person without holding down right click, or in other word ADS'ing, is this intentional?

Just wondering for a QoL if you can add a setting or something to spawn with no stats. Trying to do a no hit challenge and kinda annoying to constantly reset if I die.

Another quick question, i tested the trident no optics/ammunition option shows when i hold down T which disables choosing what warhead type is being shot, i suspect the optic part is intentional, however is the ability to not choose warhead type intentional?

both the bugs your talking about are unintended and will be patched in a coming update, thanks for reporting!

Possible bugs?
-No dual SMG magazines for the dual'ed SMG's for the dual intragat (silenced and unsilenced version)
-No crafting recipe's for the Hera or Hera-Arlane to scrap/craft it
-AH-64 chaingun can be used to look (and shoot) underneath the map when positioned on uneven and even terrain
-AH-64 tends to tip over a lot when spawned, not sure if this is intentional or not, may need a bit of adjustments
-Dragon breath and explosive 12 gauge shells refill recipe can be used even with no other dragon breath shells (Shell won't get refilled tho)
-Attachments other then the bayonet and stock can be fit on the weebley as long as it's the appropriate attachment type
-Other rail attachments can also now be fitted on crown and private
-Centare "wild cherry" description is misspelled as delciously and not deliciously
-Flight bottom does not have a scrap recipe

You cant craft the new armored door it also only takes one overdrived fuse
