there is a race mod (Mr plague's authentic races) that i use (although most of them are very op and/or odd looking like a teleporting and flying wndigo or the bat human vampire despite there already being different vampires in game) but in changed there are non sentient latex beast i'm going to call "completed samples" that are in a way not "alive" but are living and that's what made Dr k and colion (in the true ending) to be assimilated without changing anything but there body and puro is proof that latex beast can get human level intellect if they over come instinct so it's possible to have assimilation be just a fantasy death then a townsfolk (with the completed sample or a advanced latex beast) npc that can help assimilate you without it being a death

maybe it should be compatible with Mr plague's authentic races that would be amazing

Playing as them would be cool.

( Also I wonder what the transfur effect will be like when it comes out. )
