Bug Report: Crashing on opening map
The following procedure reproduces the crash consistently.
  1. create and upgrade a knife
  2. enter hardmode
  3. continue to upgrade past the pre-hardmode damage cap
  4. use the knives in a pre-hardmode world
  5. open the fullscreen map while the knives are the active item

This produces a main engine crash.
Additionally, the knife item is permanently bugged even after entering a hardmode world and its description box is empty.

I can provide images of the main engine crash dialogue and the bugged item box if that would help.
