Reduce the number of hits you need to destroy buildings, but also decrease the Chakram range. Chakram currently outranges the tower and makes the towers useless. As a result, towers only work in areas where there is a chokepoint. There's no point in building towers in places without chokepoints and it makes the game inflexible. Areas with chokepoints are the best places to be and it's hard to punish it.
Make towers do less damage overall. A highly upgrade tower can kill the Dire in a few hits. Add these towers to a chokepoint area and the Dire has no chance to win.
Pathing needs to be better, but that's something you can fix later I guess.
first the positive: this mod is quite fun (especially if u play it with friends) and it works quite good :)
now the negative: if the people know what they are doing the timbersaws will lose even a 4v3 (actually happend), because:
In the early game the timbers are strong and the trees are weak. They get money through hitting your base. But u can just sudoku your whole base as soon as they come and build somewhere else so they dont get money. And because u sudoku'ed your base u get all the money back.
So u can build a new base pretty easy. Then the game will reach the point where the trees just overpower the timbersaws with like severall lvl 10 (?) towers which deal 701 dmg and the timbers cant even get close.
What i want to say in short: If people know what they are doing the Timbers will get stomped after 10-15 min and can only use chakram to stay out of tower range and wont get money anymore.
When the big tree needs to be rescued the trees will have so much money and mana they just build a lot of lvl 10 towers and stun the Timbers.
(its still a fun gamemode :) )

damn im really miss the game~
pick tree don't feed, suicide and blink away, timber autolose once towers can 1 or 2 hit them
if anyone feeds ents lose, because timber just has to not suicide to towers and exploit attack speed and hp to tank towers
needs complexity for ents beyond wait to 25 minutes and stunlock timbers near hastily constructed towers
