Questions and Answers
Q: How do I start using the new mechanics?
Unlock one of the decree technologies. A dilemma should pop up if your faction leader is leading an army. Otherwise, raise an army with your faction leader. If your faction leader is in a besieged city or something it may not fire. Get them to a safe place, save and reload.

Q: Can this mod be added to an existing campaign?
Yes, the mod will look for the prerequisite technologies and the dilemma with fire.

Q: Can this mod be removed safely from an existing campaign?
If you revert you cancel your errantry, returning your faction leader to a normal army, and destroy all of your foreign buildings (in my experience) the game will load without the mod, but, like many mods, accessing the summary and records tabs will crash the game.

Q: Can this mod be used in a multiplayer campaign?
Short answer, no. Longer answer, probably not. I didn’t test this, though I did try to build the mod with the possibility of multiplayer. It may be possible to make it work, but it is not a priority for me.

Q: Is the AI able to use the new mechanics?
No, this is player only.

Q: Can I have more than one errantry army (horde)?
No, the systems are designed around having only one horde army per bretonnian faction, but the horde shares most of its effects with other nearby armies as noted in the UI.

Q: Are all of the foreign units in the custom battle available in the campaign?
Sort of. Some cannot be recruited by your armies, but can join you randomly in battle. Some are hard to unlock. (E.g., savage orc boar boyz exist, but you need to be allied with a savage orc tribe, which is not easy to do.)

Q: Is there a chart to know how to recruit all of the foreign units?
No, there are too many variables. I suggest that you don’t try to unlock any one special unit and just pick up ones that you like as they come.

Q: Can you add unit x, y , or z to the recruitment pool?
I chose to add the vanilla units that I did to match the theme of the mod and not to fill the gaps in the Bretonnian roster (Lots of knights, no heavy infantry, etc.) You may make suggestion in the discussion thread or if you have some modding chops, I made it possible to add them to the mod yourself. See the discussion section.

Q: Can any unit be added to the recruitment pool?
No. Some special units are messed with by the UI these include Blessed Spawn units and imperial reinforcements for example. These need to be cloned before they can be added.

Q: Is this mod compatible with X, Y , or Z?
Check the compatibility section above. When I know, I’ll share.

I`m a bit confused about war errantry start/end. As i understand, you start a war with technology. Alright. But how do you end it? And what if i want to start new one?
