Combat Summary
The game play is a real time varation of the actual table top game Fading Suns Noble Armada. All the same strategy is involved. I battle encounter involves knowing you ships, Some ships are strong gun ship platforms, others carry a lot of marines. Some ships have limited gun facings, and each ship types gun facings have different target ranges.

As you battle you have to manage the four shield/armor quadrants of the vessel. Fore, Aft, Starboard and Port sides. As a side takes damage it whittles away at shielding and armor. If any side gets down to the bare hull and suffers a hit, you loose your ship.

Movement of your vessel is all vector and inertia based. Thrusting in one direction, you will continue in that direction intill you apply a different thrust. You can still rotate the vessel as it moves to bring to bare gun ports, or to avoid fire on a weak side.

Boarding allows you to if you can get a ship with a high complement of marines along side a target vessel, to invade the enemy ship itself. You will have to eliminate the boarded vessels own marines and seize the bridge. Beware the enemy can also attempt to board your vessels, When this happens the roles reverse and you have to repel the boarders.

Asteroids and other space debris are great for cover, I also hope to add some physics allowing you to use them to fling smaller ones using the grapple hook. or use as a anchor to swing around much large ones.
