A Tale Retold is a new gaming community with 100+ active members and growing!
We recently just wrapped up our last server (a fun change of pace doing a Medieval RP theme) and are moving onto our next adventure. We're currently looking for friendly, active players who enjoy a variety of games and who are interested in a fun, challenging new flavor of the same ol' Ark experience.

Our Ark server is also White Listed, meaning that only people who have joined our discord and filled out an application can get access to the server/password.

Since Genesis Part 2 will be arriving sometime next month (barring any delays from Wildcard ofc) we believe it will be great fun to try and do an actual Story-line Run by going through all the canonically relevant maps one by one.
This would entail starting with and going through:

5. Genesis Part 1 🌌

We figure it should take no more than a couple of weeks to complete each map so that by the time we are done and caught up, Genesis Part 2 will (hopefully) have been released and even had a little time to iron out the inevitable bugs/glitches that new releases come with.

*The Hunted will add a much more challenging experience than vanilla Ark gives. You will start with normal stats and get slightly boosted stats for each point you put into them, but the flip side of this is that you cannot do traditional taming. You will not be able to tame adult creatures in the wild, instead you must find and steal fertilized eggs from nests and/or find babies wandering near parents and claim them as your own.
However don't think that the parents will be keen on letting you near their nests or young ones without a fight. Once peaceful dinos will now see you as a threat if you wander too close....so be prepared to fight for your life or run for it!

the German-speaking cluster Einfaches Sterben is looking for adventurous people who would like to play with the core mod "The Hunted".

You want a "The Hunted" dino for a friend?
Then you have to steal eggs or make a young animal your friend - however, the parents have something against it, even dodos or parasaurs have united to herds and will attack you in the process.
This mod is not for players who are looking for quick success, build undisturbed or like to carry a lot.

Are you bored with the normal ARK? "The Hunted" will present you with a whole new set of challenges and we promise: You will die!

The weights of the various resources are as provided by the mod, so be prepared to be constantly overloaded. The stats of the players and animals have NOT been increased, also there is no backpack or anything like that.
Mods are kept identical on all servers, so there will be no loss of modtiers or anything else while traveling.

Tek and modtiere are only available on certain maps, also the parts of the levels are significantly lower than the animals of The Hunted.
So there is a balance between the different advantages and disadvantages.

All servers are password protected, Discord reading is mandatory, as all news about the cluster is posted there. Everything else you want to know about the different maps can be found in Discord under Servers and Mods.

Existing maps:
Valguero, Ragnarok, Crystal Isles and as hardcore: The Island (XP strongly slowed down).

-Vanilla animals are also available (Aberant, Tek etc.)
- Max level 180 (except Tek, Aberant animals, Wyvern and Dragons)
- XP = 0,5 (The Island 0,15)
- Taming = 4
- Pause between mating = 0,5 and 1
- Pregnancy/hatching eggs = 8
- Growth rate = 8
- No structure decay
- Everything can be lifted
- Ruins and caves may be built on
- Flying is possible in caves
