Nameplate positioning with scaled UI
My settings are:
* 4k resolution
* UI scaled to about 40%
* dino bar scale at 0.6

this seems to screw with nameplate positioning, as they move to wildly different positions on the screen depending on where the dino is in relation to my cameras position.

are there any predefined offset settings i can use? tried playing with them myself but couldn't manage to find a setting where they stayed stickied to the dino

Oh.. it should adjust automatically to the UI scale (timer with an interval of 1 second), but maybe I broke it with the last version. Thanks for reporting it. I will fix it as soon as possible.

In the meantime I think the only properly working solution is to use UI scale 100%.

Hm, I've tested it on a dedicated server running Ragnarok and it is still working for me. What happens if you open the options dialog ingame and change the UI scale and then press apply? The nameplates should jump back into the correct position within 1 second. It should also work with the resolution scale/ratio slider.

Those settings are located in the GameUserSettings.ini:
[/script/shootergame.shootergameusersettings]
UIScaling=1.000000

[ScalabilityGroups]
sg.ResolutionQuality=100

When pressing on apply the new values should be written into this file. The mod will read it from there and use them to scale the position values.

Or do you have multiple monitors and are playing the game on the second monitor maybe?

i do have three monitors, but i am playing on the one my nvidia control panel as well as my display settings dialog are saying is display 1: https://i.imgur.com/YblPrvj.png

My settings:
[/script/shootergame.shootergameusersettings] UIScaling=0.606971 [ScalabilityGroups] sg.ResolutionQuality=100 sg.ViewDistanceQuality=3

Ok, so this seems indeed to be related to a multi monitor setup. I can either disable my extra screens or put the game into borderless window mode, but multiple screens AND borderless window leads to the described issue.

Playing fullscreen is an acceptable workaround for me

With a single monitor it only happens when setting it to borderless window. With exclusive fullscreen and normal windows it works.

thanks guys, going fullscreen solved this issue for me too, running 4 screens and borderless gave me the same bug.
Love this mod!
