Mine simply says "incompatible" full stop. Not sure why this no longer works, it was the best mod IMO. The warfare expanded warships, whilst showing as compatible also fails to load. The core WE mod and aircraft still work.

A real shame because across these 4 mods they made the game much more interesting especially for domination victory and late game combat.

Firaxis take note, they should release this officially much like Next War was with Civ 4
