No, I'm in the UK, so no dice. The lag was horrible in anything but UK matches. The cash doesn't do much, because there's nothing there yet, but they already have timed items in, and reforging, buying characters etc, the potential to cash cow is there.
I wouldn't say perfect, but those changes would make it passable, enjoyable at the very least. As it stands now, the balance issues, and as you pointed out, the dashing make it unpleasant to play. Esspecially the stunlocking.
I guess when I said trying to milk you for cash, I mean the fact that they already have all the systems built into the game. Lets not kid ourselves, Gunz was kinda pay to win, esspecially towards the end, I'm exceedingly worried that Gunz 2 is heading for that, but from the get go. We'll see, you do seem to get a lot of gold per match though, which might balance it out nicely. However, the skill system is♥♥♥♥♥ pure and simple, you're automatically giving anyone with a higher level an advantage, which in competitive arena fighter, is completely unbalanced. The only fix I can think for that, would be limiting skills to PvE only.
Edit: Also I was reading it wrong, you get a pathetic amount of gold per match. I was reading the next level rewards.
Oh, I wish it were like S4, I adore that game, well, before all the hackers anyway. No, it currently feels like a completely unfinished mess with broken mechanics and insane latency issues (the exact same we saw in the original).
I mean to say, downgraded Gunz 1 trying to ape S4 without being compotent enough, with a slightly better looking lick of paint.
Still cant wait till its on steam so i can try for myself.
Because I'm not going to support a company that is more interested in my wallet than in making a quality game, frankly, and as I said, the game is♥♥♥♥♥ I don't like it. I loved Gunz 1, and I paid for content on that.
