I'm pretty sure that's the original inspiration, it resembles it too much.
It would go very well with the Venice-mask-Limbo. Go full renaissance!

Took a look at the two. I have to agree with Bit. This is not Ezio at all. This is Rakan, but even that comparison is reaching a lot. This syandana never wraps around, isn't wholly made of any cloth-material, and Rakan's spikes are on the front of the body, not the back
