Read me! No, seriously.

This is a pack of plain concrete docks that allows you to customize the look and feel by adding your own combination of props and buildings. The pack contains:
  • Functional Cargo Harbor
  • Functional Passenger Harbor
  • Ploppable Dock Prop

Known Issues
When you place the Passenger Harbor, ships will dock a bit far away from the concrete slab/shoreline. The solution to this problem is to use MoveIt!, select the invisible nodes in front of the passenger dock and use your arrow keys to move it closer to the shoreline. Your savegame will keep the nodes saved but you'll have to do that for every passenger dock you place in your map.

Why create your own docks/port?
This asset was specifically designed for my YouTube series: Seenu. I wasn't happy with the look of the stock vanilla harbors and the custom ones available in the Workshop are not very customizable.
So I created a blank set of concrete docks where you can add whatever props you like in-game. In the screenshots above I even hidden them under Ronyx's Breakwater assets.

Hey man, these are great!. Thank you. Would you mind doing a ferry stop version of this. The one the game comes with is just awful. I know with props you could do quite a bit to make a shelter and what not if we had a blank one. Just a suggestion. Thanks again tho for these!.

Really nice asset, thanks Strict!
However I think I've noticed a small problem:
When it rains Cargo Dock texture change to a "wet" version but Regular Dock stays "dry" and I don't know yet how Passenger Dock reacts. (It's a small issue and maybe it's just me?)
I know Seenu is always sunny, but I wanted to let you know this texture prblm might happen ;)

Mkay, thanks. I actually found another video of yours showing when you built the docks, even if it's not live, so that's a few less questionmarks straightened.

But nevermind all that cuz my game crashed critically, lol. It's a real shame, your videos was what got me in the urge of revisiting this game, unfortunately without a liquid nitrogen cooled quantum computer I can't seem to handle all the mods I want/need. Anyways, love the Seenu vids. I'll have to live vicariously through watching you build I guess.

@handsomgrape it's actually not too hard if you have the right tools. It's true that the terraforming controls are not very precise, but the way I go around this limitation is by "hiding the imperfections" of the terrain.

In the case of Seenu I simply placed Ronxy's breakwater concrete slabs to hide the edges of the terrain and then put down this DIY pack hidden under those using the MoveIt mod.

In the video featured above I show a little bit how this process works.

How are you supposed to build something like the docks in Seenu? From what I can tell, you start with a landmass. But the terraforming tools are all terrible and it's damn near impossible to get the docks aligned. Is it better to shape out a square and start with roads at the edges? If you use move it, is it better to use snap to grid? I tried it and it didn't work at all. Might I proposition you to make a tutorial on the subject?
