Description
Created for the Mapcore/Gamebanana DOI Mapping contest

May 1940 - German paratroopers land on the island of Crete, with the objective of pushing out the Commonwealth and Greek forces.

Axis forces have landed in farmland on the outskirts of a small town, and must move through the town to secure the nearby airfield, in order to take out British defences and to allow German planes to bring in supplies and reinforcements.

The British must hold them off at all costs, retreating to the airfield as a last resort.

Mamba: this version isn't supported anymore, since the map is now included in the game. There's no point in me keeping a separate version going while NWI make changes to the official version, which I think does include Stronghold.

Any news on a Stronghold version? We'd love to add this to our server rotation.

Redhotjets: ah you mean the insignia on the tail. I've got no idea what that means, I think it might just be the RAF roundel in stripe form.

@DoG: re: "..plays great in COOP mode"
Did you get an early coop release? Not seeing it.

OK so it's British, sorry it looked like a French flag on it.
