Not before 1936 -- that would be begging for the Big Blue Tsunami to "reunite the country." But in the mod, anything's possible.
One of the few things I miss about HoI3 is each country having its own elite unit. I used zouaves for the CSA, solely because my publisher at the time convinced me, "You won't come up with anything cooler than that." If PI ever brings back this concept for HoI4, I'm ready to re-add them. Though honestly, with the division designer, it's probably a matter of semantics at this point.

A couple of fictional names which might be appropriated would include Josey Wales, James Langdon and I cannot recall the name of the former Confederates from the writing of James Warner Bellah, but should reread them. Especially Spanish Man's Grave.
