Description
When building on fire there's a chance of fire spreading to nearby buildings

This is a fixed and improved version of @apoc's Fire Spread mod.

This mod provides a settings file (FireSpreadSettings.xml) that can be found in root directory of C:S game files. If you feel that fire spread is too aggressive just change values there.

Settings Values
BaseFireSpreadChance - float - The base chance (in %) that a building can have fire spread from it
NoWaterFireSpreadAdditional - float - An additional chance (in %) that a building can have fire spread from it, if there is no water hookups to the building. This is added on top of the base chance.
UneducatedFireSpreadAdditional- float - An additional chance (in %) that a building can have fire spread from it, if there are no educated workers building. This is added on top of the base chance.
IndustrialFireSpreadAdditional- float - An additional chance (in %) that an industiral building can have fire spread from it, if there are no educated workers building. This is added on top of the base chance.
PowerPlantFireSpreadAdditional- float - An additional chance (in %) that a power plant can have fire spread from it, if there are no educated workers building. This is added on top of the base chance.
FireSpreadModifier - float - A modifier for the overall chance for fire to be spread from a building. The internal 'random' generator creates a number between 0.0 and 1.0 so this value should modify the total chance to within that range.

Problem solved: the first fire needs to occur so that the file gets created in the game's directory.

Does this mod no longer creates the settings.xml file in the root directory? I already unsubscribed and resubscribed and it just doesn't show up.

I installed the game again after a long time and I remember I had the file there, but now it just not showing. Any known issue?

Yes, fire spread was implemented to the base game after Natural Disasters. With Natural Disasters, trees will catch on fire as well. This mod is obsolete.

Penguin love your mods man! If you could incoorperate this, that would be much appreciated. It's so unrealistically frustrating when I'm having crazy bush fires and heavy rainful at the same time... http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=629370088&searchtext=rain

ditto as below, I had an entire huge idustrial area burn to the ground, 6+ fire helle pads and nearly 15 fire stations nearby couldn't catch up. After the rubble cleared by the recovery team and the area was clear for rebuilding, the building would litereally spawn on fire. I had to remove the zoning to make it stop.

Isn't this function built into ND anyway? Do we really need this if we have ND? Considering the above conditions in the description, I think I was at 100% chance. ready to just drop a nuke and put the poor bas**ards out of their misery.

Any chance you would consider adopting http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=629370088 that Author has not been on for 120 days.

@ariwynn77 This mod works in C:S 1.6.0 (a.k.a. Natural Disasters)
