@XandreBLues I am glad you are enjoying it! @Rarest Pepe Yes, but only on ice! Look for gray patches.

Are there any ore spots visible on the surface? I tried to find one but i couldn't

ach, this is just simply beautiful! I was looking for a small(ish) moon to simulate a Kuiper belt object (like Pluto, Haumea and Makemake). Minmus-like huh? KERBALS!!! lol, I so very much approve :) This is such a very beautiful world and I can't wait to add this into my next survival game (w/crashed red ship) :steamhappy:

If you want to add me, we could talk more about it and such. I'm curious about changing how ores spawn on different layers and such. :P

@Vas Sure thing. There is one image file for the heightmap(greyscale), one file for biomes, foilage and ores (blue with pink areas), and one file for the dark ore spots you can see (grid of brown spots).

I usually export height maps from Space Engine, then edit them with GIMP. Also, you can split the color channels in the biome files to work on them seperately, using Colors>Components>Decompose...

You can copy the vanilla planet configs from "Space Engineers/Content/Data/PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc". All the vanilla planet image files are in PlanetDataFiles.

Happy modding!

Question: In your files, the images for the planet. You have some that are blue with with pink areas and a splattered grid of brown spots. Can you explain this file for me? Or link a modding source to help me with this? I was curious about making my own moon somewhat like this.

fixed the missing ores

Instead of actual terrain, the planet is a large ball of ice. I tried the mod by itself and the problem persisted. Any thoughts?
