Warsaw is the capital city of Poland. A major city in the Masovian Voivodeship surrounded by the floodplain of the River Vistula and vast forests, notably that of the Kampinowski (Campion) National Park to the city's North-West. Warsaw's urban population is about three million people, with many smaller towns namely: Pruszków, Józefów; Mińsk Mazowiecki (to the East of Warsaw); and notably Legionowo and Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki to the capital's North. Warsaw may be the finance capital for Poland, but its history, cultural wealth and people shape the city to what it is. Warsaw includes some of the most well known landmarks of Poland: the Palace of Science and Culture, Wilanów Palace, the Royal Castle, Łazienki Park and Palace on the Water and many more.
