Description
Steel Mountain!

DESCRIPTION:
- A completely custom generated and refined map!
- Heavily edited to create flat planes and smooth transitions in certain areas for building convenience!
- Lots of resources and beautiful environments!

V2 UPDATE:
- Fixed water bugs
- Lowered sections of train lines that were preventing power lines from being built between areas

Thanks for the interest in this map guys! we are nearly at 3000 subscribers!

For those of you interested this map was recently chosen to be used as the competition map for Land of Steel city building competition over on Cities: Skylines Nation!

The entries were amazing and really showed of what can be done with this map, the winners of the competition can be found here:

Haha, my main focus was on the map and by the time I had planned the freeways and railways I had already built them and from my tests they worked as needed even though they looked pretty shoddy and could be better, if I find some time I will try to improve them a lot!

Im glad you like the map though!

I like the map, the the little details in it are fantastic but those freeways and railways are awful.

BEAUTIFUL! I was looking for a special but realistic map and about to give up as I found Steel Montain. I love the nordic style, the rivers, the whole island. It offers enough space to build, highways and resources. Did I mention that it looks just great?
