Description

Description

This mod adds The Chirurgeon and The Lost Soul Patient enemies to Vanilla DD1 as a Collector-type boss.
As well as a new supply which can cure any disease, and 3 trinkets specific to the Chirurgeon.
It also includes The Gaunts enemies.

These enemies can appear in any of the four vanilla regions, but in The Tangle or Sprawl he can only be activated by use of a Curio. The attacks and skills these monsters use are for the most part as similar as possible to their DD2 counterparts, with certain liberties taken to ensure they fit in with the game mechanics of the original Darkest Dungeon.


Notes
An important note about the AI of these enemies: Lost Souls and Woodsman enemies are 5 times as likely to target marked heroes over non-marked heroes (but do not get damage bonuses vs marked). In addition, Widows and Urchins are 4 times as likely to target the hero in the party with the most stress.

Well-done port, just a few bits of critique if you're open to it:
-I feel the mini-boss shows up too often. Showing up half as often would make it more fun.
-I have encountered the Chirurgeon and patients many times. Never encountered just random gaunts... Doesn't feel right. Generics should be more common.
-The bleed response triggering on ranged attacks feels wrong. Is that fixable?

then make it so it has a cooldown, the stress damage and the debuff it's heavy to deal with :/ great mod, apart for this detail:steamthumbsup:

Cause we can't change targeting based on that in DD1. We do the best we can.

Having issues with some of the weald mashes? "fungal_Brtillery_B" could be the culprit.

the tweaks to urchin was just code cleanup, but i did apply them to the others

fixed stealth to 500% chance (guaranteed)
Fixed bleed_1 to 100% chance

The other chirurg pieces you mentioned was all tuning.
