Historical Poland: Redux is a mod which aims to overhaul Poland in the Hearts of Iron IV while maintaining the historical character of the content and being a complement and extension of the current vanilla content.



Version 1.2.2 of Historical Poland: Redux is an early version of the mod and includes content for historical Sanation, alternative Sanation paths and one opposition path - National Party. In version 1.2.2, we focused mainly on monarchy paths and improving the current stuff. Each monarchy path have completely separate economic content. Please understand that this 1.2.2 version is an early release and may contain bugs and errors. DLC is required for the mod to function properly.

Other features include:
  • Sanation factions struggle balance of power
  • Unique industrial focus tree branch for each playable faction
  • Polish Government in exile and resistance content (heavily WIP)
  • Basic WIP content for Prometheism
  • Custom achievements


  • Refining the mod version to make it stable and bug-free
  • More events, decisions and other content
  • Focus tree branch for opposition (People's Party, Polish Socialist Party, Labour Party, RN-R "Falanga") and the communists as well
  • Fully playable 1939 scenario and stable focus tree for Polish government in exile and resistance
  • Expanded Prometheism content
  • Reworked focus tree path for Polish-German alliance
  • More flavour
  • Improvements in current content
  • More custom portraits and art
  • Polish translation

the mod makes the game lag, the decisions to seize countries gold reserves as germany don't appear and the borders of the generalgovernement are gore. The Alfred Rosenberg modifier also doesn't change at all

Maybe it really is more historical, I wouldn't know, but just like in vanilla, in this mod, if the player takes the Sanacja path, the internal affairs of the Sanacja Regime are so distracting and time (spent doing focuses) and resource (CG actories in decisions, PP trying to move balance of power bars) that it's just objectively worse than monarchist and fascist paths in terms of preparing for WW2
