  • add new retextured icon from rpg style inventory revamped
  • remove dependency from original rpg style inventory

  • compatibility with RPG style inventory revamped has been improved
  • icon of carrying weight has been improved


The Jelano retexture series aims to improve textures both from the original game and from community mods.

This mod retextures the UI from the popular RPG style inventory mod by Sandy. I made every element from the interface more aesthetic.

To further improve the gaming experience, I recommend using RimThemes




To work the mod you need either the original mod or the rpg style inventory revamped. I purposely didn't add either of them to "required mods" so you wouldn't see the annoying notification about the "missing required mod".



Q: Is it compatible with other versions of the rpg style inventory?
A: Probably yes

Q: I think I found a bug
A: Tell that to the creators of the original mod, My textures are unlikely to cause any problems.

Q: I can't download the mod in Steam
A: You can use steamCMD

Q: Is this mod save game compatible?
A:Yep

The authors of the original mod is Sandy and Ashen, I just made a retexture.

@Rohzdear In the future I just make one united mode that will contain all my existing and future retexture and I will not add any dependency. ~1 week and you can play without annoying errors and with slightly better performance

RimPy is giving me the message that this mod requires the original RPG Style Inventory, yet I'm using the Revamped version. I assume it's a false error, but still annoying to see.

Good Retexture, clean and easily readable icons.

@Daevinski what database? In my RimPy folder there is only one db.json and it finds nothing with "jelano" in it even though I am using this mod and it RimPy reports an error.

I am using Visual Studio Code to open it.

Like already stated before, the dependency warning comes from RimPy Database and not this mod. But it is super easy to solve until the database is updated: just open the database folder and look for the db.json file, open it with Notepad++ or similar and search for Jelano retexture - RPG Style Inventory , it will hang for a bit 'cause the file is huge, but then you'll see the "dependencies" section and there you just need to replace the old info with the Revamped info: replace the Mod Name, Workshop URL and ID Number (the most important). Once you update it all the warning is gone for good.

Oh man this is GREAT. Your style is very clean and easy to read! A lot of the bigger mods (such as A Rim of Magic) have this very rough png look to them and I'd love to see how you handle those later down the line. Thanks for this!
