Starting a new game took about 20 minutes on a powerful gaming PC (by 2025 standards), but eventually it loads and works, so if you are patient, the mod is usable.

Friendly advise: *DO NOT PLAY MASSIVE MAPS WITH REGENERATING INFESTATIONS!!!*

It will reach a point where the game will simply crash after some turns because there is to much stuff on the map. Just recently had to forfeit a 151 turn campaing because of the bug.
