Alpine Creek

Alpine Creek, first opened in 1973, is composed of a main section of trails accessed by both a gondola, 2 high speed six packs, and a fixed grip quad with both easy runs, intermediate, and advanced. This then leads to 4 other sections; a high alpine zone composed of 3 bowls with access from a 24 person tri cable gondola and a high speed quad. The other 3 sections are accessed by 1 high speed six pack, 3 high speed quads, a fixed double which is only rarely opened because of the south facing steeps it accesses which can be quite adventurous on a powder day, a newly built 8 person gondola and a high speed 8 pack servicing the mountains beginner hill. The mountain is also home to one of the largest snowmaking systems in the WRSS2 community. This is currently one of the biggest resorts on the workshop and is still a work in progress.
