Description
IMPORTANT: This is the entire data module to the Undead Nightmare - Lost Character Swap mod. The assets required for this mod can be found here!
DO NOT SKIP THE REQUIRED ITEMS! THEY ARE NECESSARY!!

The lost was kinda... meh to be honest, so I decided to make them scarier. This mod replaces the lost with the zombies from Call of Duty: WWII. This is just a cosmetic replacer... for now. The real overhaul will be released when it's done, with more content (i.e. powerful WWII weapons) and stronger types of zombies designed to actually make the Lost more engaging and scarier. This was originally gonna be part of either the Wolfenstein overhaul or it's own thing with zombie worshipping cultists that are armed to the teeth, but I rather start small first.

If anyone wants to help port other uniforms, or accelerate the rate of more content, feel free to get in touch with me. I really just need more skinners that are able to rig uniforms to XCOM 2.

  • New models for zombies as seen from CoD: WWII!
  • Each zombie spawned has randomly generated gear (meaning that they have hats and two different types of torsos)!

  • They're still called the Lost.
  • The Cinematic intros might cut off the sounds at the end. Only way to fix it is if I used the WWise Authoring Kit or extend the intros.

Q: World War II era weapons (M1 Garand, M1928 Thompson, MG-42) when?!

A: I won't port all the WWII weapons, just some of them. Also, when the mod is done.

Q: Vanilla version?

A: Vanilla X2 doesn't have the Lost, so no.

Just thought I'd share this for anyone interested in a truly screwy Lost experience, based on my own eternal attempts to break the game as hard as possible with mods.
I forgot what I was doing mid-load and ended up turning on Death Troopers, World War Lost and finally this all one after another in my mod-stack. Turns out they all play ball decently alright! The gameplay / AI tweaks and "New Brute" came across from WWL, the incinerator troopers from Death Troopers still appeared in full Stormtrooper outfit, and all the typical lost (including the vanilla brute) look like these amazing CoD ones - yes even Metal-arm chappy.
Haven't seen a boomer from ABA show up yet, they may have been the only casualty. Obviously it's not ALL the features from all of them, like the clown zombos or the gun zombos, but regardless it's still a lot of variation, all this together has made me actually respect the lost again. Thank you!

Hey 1^ Ruzael , I got the same the thing with the metal arm, purple and grey texture for his chest. Thought it was my RTX 2080.

I just completed the first mission where you recruit the reaper and Mox but all the Lost were vanilla skinned. Is there something I missed?

I'm sure this is on my end, I just have to figure out whats causing it, but the lost brute, the thing with the metal arm, has a purple and grey texture for his chest.

They should? This doesn't change the way the lost operates, but of course there might be some underlying conflict I don't know about.

Do the mods 'Lost spawn further away' and 'Fair Lost targetting' affect this mod...because I can not get this to work. Got rid of all other Lost mods etc

@Xavi, try verfiying your cahce files. Sometimes the game might be "hesitant" withg some assets.
