Unfortunately I have no idea how to upload the updated mod to the steam workshop otherwise I would do so for future people.
Not much I'm afraid, and you probably figured something out by now, but I'd recommend doing what @Inflatablemouse (probably) did and simply update lua_revision number in metadata.lua, and it should probably work fine, as it's a very simple mod, not changing anything in the game itself.
Would be great if you/someone can also use bundled modding tool to re-upload it, so that others can use the fixed version too, as idk if I'll get back to the game - there's always plenty of other/new things to play, and never enough time.
I'm a planner, I like to plan out my bases, exactly where I want to put everything. This was the best mod for doing that and I was sad that when I returned to SM today it no longer worked.
I find this is one of my favorite mods to plan building a base. Using different colors for marking grids, service areas for drone hubs and domes. I love it :).
Thanks!
Don't have SM installed atm, so can't test/update, but it worked for me some months ago so lua_revision number in metadata.lua might be the only "incompatible" thing.
I think github has newer version than uploaded here, and if that's still too old, bump that aforementioned value up to something more current and suspect it should work.
Feel free to re-upload fixed version too, I don't mind at all.
I think it's built into SM mod manager on all platforms now
