Description
This is a submod based on the Expanded Ideas in the Road to 1956 for Kaiserreich. The basic idea is that each government type would have associated ideas revolving around their approach to art, education, gender, justice, war and religion.

This is the first Alpha edition of this mod. All I have done is made it so that on start up each country will have one of these ideas based on their government. Each idea has a bonus but I am 90% sure it is not balanced. I'd also bet that a new country would spawn without these ideas. There are also no pictures yet attached to each idea.

Here is my to do list for this mod:
* Balance bonuses for gameplay
* ~~Attach gfx for each idea~~ (mostly done)
* Write log for each idea (started)
* Create events or decisions for when governments change to allow for ideas to change and maybe penalties for when they don't change.
* Create AI preferences for each idea based on current government
* Create events or decisions based on ideas
* Modify focus trees which would influence or be influenced by these ideas.

I don't know why but every time KR updates the colors mess up. Then I find some way to fix it and forget what I did since it's been a few months. Very frustrating. And so the cycle begins again!

needs to be updated. i dont know why but apparently it screws up the country colors

Thanks for the balance feedback. It is greatly appreciated. The thinking behind Maid and Matron being such a high bonus is that I want to make switching from it prohibitive in a way that reflects how hard it was for society to make the change in OTL. Though I am open to how this would be done.

I agree with the stability increase for the Peace attitudes, maybe with a penalty to war support too.

And anarchy is planned as a forced idea if a country is in civil war but that isn't implemented yet.

Also you could make some requirements to take those ideas, why can i take Anarchy as National Populists or Theocratic state as Syndicalist :DDDD

Imo that -23% research time is too much for commies. Imo Or -20% consumer goods on maid matron, should be -10% max imo. Imo Pacifism and Pro-peace could increase weekly stability imo. That's just imo

I appreciate your patience. I admit that I go through seasons in HOI and right now I only have the mental energy for Civ. But I always come back. Plus learning to mod is fun.

Thanks but you just make me feel bad to not have time to do more work. This is not a forgotten mod I probably just won't be able to touch it until Thanksgiving break.

Hi. Love this mod. It really made my Kaiserreich expirience so much better. It give each nation so much more character and the ideologies more depth. Keep up the good work!

I'll fix it though I'm pretty sure that it doesn't really matter since the update wouldn't affect the mod. But I will fix it so you don't have the little red exclamation point.
