Pollution Solution

A simple mod for Cities: Skylines that allows you to enable/disable Noise, Ground, and Water pollution.

Noise Pollution
  • Disabling and Re-enabling Noise Pollution takes effect after a few seconds.

  • Disabling Ground Pollution takes effect after a few seconds.
  • Re-enabling Ground Pollution will take some time for the pollution to build up.

  • Disabling Water Pollution takes effect after a few seconds, but it will take some time for the water to clear up.
  • Re-enabling Water Pollution takes effect after a few seconds, but it will take some time for the water to become polluted again.

  • You can enable toggle each type of pollution individually.
  • Settings are live, so you can toggle them while a city is running.

Thanks for making this mod! The noise polution in this game is for my liking a bit to intense, so roming it and no having to give a dawm is nice!

@tom.bxh, I'm not planning on making any more mods for Cities: Skylines. It's actually a lot of work because the API docs are very incomplete, so it requires a lot of guessing as well as trial and error. I'll continue to support this mod though.

To deal with garbage, I'd recommend looking at the =Garbage] "Garbage" section in the Workshop to find a better garbage disposal building. One that can handle garbage faster and send out more trucks.

Thats great, are you able to create a mod to completely remove the garbage? Thank you very much and Thank you in advance :steamhappy:

I just double-checked and it's still working just fine.
Is this mod up to date with the latest patch?

@mobile87, unfortunately the pollution and noise systems simply don't work that way, so there's no way to do it per district or industry as far as I can tell. It'll apply to the whole map.

Can this be applied to specific districts and or Industries?
