(WOTC) Three Tier Cosmetic Weapons

Description
Adds cosmetic versions of the standard weapons at all three tiers, so that you can have a tier 1 beam rifle, or a tier 2 conventional pistol, or a tier 3 conventional sniper rifle, or whatever else you want. The mod also includes support for cosmetic versions of the Chosen weapons.

It also adds weapons at their own tiers, that will upgrade without changing look, so you can use those if that's what you want. (For example, the normal game's conventional rifle will upgrade to a mag rifle, but the tier 1 conventional rifle will upgrade to a tier 2 conventional rifle)

The new weapons should be automatically added, but if that doesn't work, try typing ForceThreeTierCosmeticUpdate at the console.

This mod causes crashing, if one tries to load a save-file that is in a Mission. But it works fine, if one loads a save-file that is in the Geoscape.

I checked that this happens, when only this mod is active as well. I physically deleted the workshop folders and had only this one on. I will check and see that no other setting is causing this.

Hi, just to ask, iit would be very nice if you could add compatibility with https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1349983893 its the best and only true lore friendly weapons pack that I found for Wotc, I would greatly apreciate it.

Just curious, I know some weapon mods use some form of coding to hide the previous tier of weapons. Could you implement that into this mod @PZ?

Sorry, probably not. I don't use that mod so it's not a priority.

The order that the weapons show up is kind of random but there isn't much I can do about that. All the weapons should actually still be there, though. If they aren't, that's a more serious problem (and one that I don't experience, so I'm not sure how much help I can be)

So when using this mod is breaks my primary weapon list for assault rifle classes. The weapons are in random places in the primary weapon list.

okay i got it back in the launcher, didnt work this time but im gonna try the forcethreetiercosmeticupdate thing though my console is apparently disabled right now for some reason

interestingly enough, it showed up in that launcher. i launched the game from the launcher. mod didnt work. i thought i would just have to unsubscribe and resubscribe on steam, so i did. and now the mod is gone from the alternative mod launcher and i cant find it anywhere,
